Your Choice or Theirs: Bodily Autonomy and Choice in America

I thought it would be good to break from our normal format of highlighting our different selection of adult toys for adult pleasure to be able to speak about an important topic that is just as important today as it was decades and centuries ago. The rights over one’s body. Specifically, bodily autonomy, women’s rights, human rights, and the right to privacy. These topics are in the news for many reasons and it seems like the conservative supermajority in the Supreme Court of the United States might even be considering overturning Roe v. Wade. This would be detrimental to the well-being of women’s rights and bodily autonomy and hand over that choice to the state to decide how much they intervene in the lives of its citizens. This would affect access and treatment towards those who want to get abortions even in the cases of incest and rape. A bit scary right? These people should have a say in what happens to their own bodies especially in such cases like the ones that we just mentioned. It seems forgotten on the other side of the aisle and on many sides for that matter, that everyone’s body, is and should be their own to deal with. Not old, predominantly white, conservative men who make everyone else’s body a business dealing of their own. We here at Peaches Pleasure’s are on the side of the people. People who think that one’s body should be controlled by them and not some basic ‘law of the land’ instituted by an old way of thinking and governing. Honestly, we really don’t care what you do with your body as long as it is your choice and there is trust and communication in the transaction of what is happening. That’s another reason we are in the business that we are in. We care about that choice and care about being able to support people from across the entire spectrum, not just benefiting one type or class of people, but everyone in the United States and beyond.
Bodily Rights: Who is Included and Who is Excluded?
The topic of rights over one’s own body is still a heated discussion and some people like this woman, can’t believe she still has to march for this simple right. Especially the recent battle in the Supreme court over women’s rights over their own bodies. You can read about that here if you would like. Now, obviously, the rights over anyone’s bodily autonomy matters in today’s world where not only abortion rights are being threatened but also where vaccines are being pushed for the common public safety due to the COVID pandemic. Along with all of the recent mutations of this respiratory disease that seem to change and grow every day. Though, it seems pretty simple on one end. Politics can be seen as making things better for some people while deliberately making them horrible for others by means of exclusion and marginalization. This means that while the white, predominantly conservative males still have a majority of seats in Congress and on the Supreme Court, they can deliberately make things worse for others based on some bastardized system of white superiority, a biased version of Christianity, or whatever else they deem necessary to use in order to infringe upon the rights of all people in this ‘melting pot’ of America. If you’re interested in the debate surrounding the topics of inclusion and exclusion, I would suggest you take a look at this informative article written by Kathleen Kuehnast, Ph.D. It talks about why the inclusion of everyone no matter their gender or sexual identity, matters in building a peaceful place for people to exist and live. Peace should matter more than it does right now. People should matter more than they do right now.
Your Simple Guide To Privacy and Intimacy:
We at peaches pleasures obviously respect the rights of anyone’s ability to have autonomy over their own body because it is an essential principle in American life and one that states and courts should not infringe upon. That’s why we serve such a vast array of different sexual methods, kinks, and fantasies. Sure, there are other stores online that help you find sex toys but none quite like Peaches Pleasures. Everything from our discreet shipping, the inclusion of all types of people, quality of products, and vast array of different kinds of products, no one can beat it. We are the new store on the block that actually has the gumption to say stuff, positions to take, and people to help, most of all. No two people are alike and we believe that everyone should be catered to. Everyone should have a safe place to go to find products that fulfill the needs and desires of that specific person because everyone should have the right to decide what is good for their own bodies. You’ll find that a lot of sites do not explicitly come out and say that they support everyone’s rights, including everyone from transgender, LGTBQ+ to heterosexual couples. They may sell products that can be used however never come out and say that they support all forms of consensual adult sex acts as long as there is trust, honesty, and communication between those involved. We are right now. That is why we have content focused on supporting people of all different backgrounds, nationalities, sexual preferences, genders, and beyond! We will continue to be here and to sell to everyone regardless of anything mentioned in this article as long as they’re an adult. We are an online adult toy store based out of Denver, Colorado but are here to spread our message and products to everyone that needs them as long as it is legal for the person buying to do so.
